Meet Captain Nato
Captain Nathaniel “Nato” Verde grew up in Sarteneja, one of Belize’s great fishing communities. Fishing was part of everyday life long before it became his profession.
Nato began guiding professionally in 1996 and established Captain Nato’s Charters in San Pedro in 2006. His goal remains straightforward: share Belizean fishing as his family knows it—with patience, honesty and respect for the water.
