A productive, lower-technical-bar day targeting snapper, jacks, barracuda and other legal catch. Calmer and more straightforward than flats fly fishing, making it a strong choice for families and first-timers.

Tarpon Fishing From San Pedro
Tarpon are a possible target on fly-fishing and spin-casting trips. Around San Pedro, most are baby tarpon in the 5–25 lb range, often found near mangroves. Larger fish may appear in channels or on flats.
- October through February is a strong window for baby tarpon and snook as north winds lower the tides.
- Tarpon can be targeted with either fly or spinning gear.
- Weather, tide and light determine whether tarpon are the practical target that day.
- Captain Nato’s Charters does not offer night tarpon fishing around San Pedro.
